I had Total Right Knee Replacement performed by Dr Punwar. He did a great job. Before, my knee was becoming deformed and the pain unbearable. I am now pain free and the knee is healing well. All thanks to Dr Punwar. I can't thank him enough.

Mr Punwar was excellent throughout my treatment and recovery. Regular, consistent appointments gave me confidence that all was going to plan, and his manner throughout was great. He was very willing to explain the intricacies of the procedure, and all round gave a level of care that reinforced my faith in the NHS.

Had a right knee replacement. Excellent service and good all round support from the whole team. Has definitely improved my quality of life.

I have had two appointments (30/11.20 and 15/12/20) for a wrist fracture at the Fracture Clinic at Lewisham Hospital. Mr Shah Punwar was the consultant with whom I had the two appointments.
Both appointments were very pleasant experiences. Mr Shah is a thoughtful, respectful, good humoured, informative and encouraging man. He was a good listener and advisor and he had time to absorb the information that I was giving him. So much so that he remembered that I had said that I was an artist and that having full use of my hands was really precious to me. I read that he had mentioned, in a trauma waiting list plan, the importance of me as an artist having a volar plate that would best serve me with fixation. I was very touched and I thanked him.
I noted too, that he is very generous with his time with everyone around him and that he seems to be a worthy team player.
A lovely man, I am so grateful.
